I guess everyone likes to hear something nice to wake them up. So I won't be inexplicably absurd and irrational for me to want to hear something pleasant or amusing or satisfying first thing in the morning.

I've been using my mobile phone as an alarm clock for the last few years, however my new phone has been a pain due to the inopportune phone calls and text messages. The problem with my phone is that if I receive an SMS, it keeps ringing every few minutes to remind me of the message until I actually read it. This is a great feature to use during the day, but at night.. u can imagine.

Anyway, I had two choices. One to buy a new phone, or to buy an alarm clock so that I could turn the mobile off at night. I decided to go with the second one and bought a new alarm clock.. one of those "wake up to radio" things. This I thought was a good idea so set the radio up to wake me up at 5.30am…. thought for a change I'll wake up to a song or something nicer than the annoying noise of the alarm. But guess what I got in the morning…? I woke up to these idiots talking about Hitler's Penis.

This was one of the most revolting 'n sickening things I have ever heard at that time of the day. So of course I'm never setting that alarm up again to wake me up to the voice of the radio. I'd rather hear the irritating and maddening alarm than the sordid talk of these radio people.
