After going to bed really late, the last thing you want is someone knocking on your door in the morning. That’s exactly what happened with me this morning. I went to dinner and then to watch this movie last night, went to bed really late… then get woken up at 10am and not by a friend, but a Christian missionary.

This guy and his assistant wanted me to read this piece of paper telling me about Jesus Christ. I took the paper and as soon as I started walking back into the house, the guy wanted to speak to me about religion. 1. He asked if I go to the church. I said I don’t. 2. He asked if I had another religion. I said YES. 3. He asked if I practice my own religion. I said I CERTAINLY DO. 4. He asked if I was certain that what I believed in was the TRUTH, and I FELT LIKE PUNCHING THE IDIOT IN HIS FACE.

Yes, this is where my patience runs out. But no, I didn’t punch him in the face. I simply told him that I was certain that what I believed in was the TRUTH. I also told him that I do believe that what Christianity preaches is probably also true, but Christians like himself need to learn that there is other TRUTH in the world.

I appreciate that these people are trying to spread their religion. But they don’t have to go around telling people that everything except Christianity is wrong. The first thing these people will tell you is that Jesus died for us. Well, as a Sikh, I believe that ten of our Gurus and hundreds of thousands of their Followers died for us. They died for what they believed in… just like Jesus Christ. But no, these people don’t want to listen to that. I have actually spent a whole one hour arguing with one such missionary, just to tell him that Christians need to learn that Christianity is not the only way. But nah… they won’t listen. All they want is to brain wash you.

Anyway… enough about that. Now I should go back as my bed is calling me again. Will speak to you people later.

Any comments about this matter are welcome…!

Today's joke..... :

Thought I'd keep this page updated, but haven't been able to do so. Just received a mail for a friend with this joke in it. So thought I'd share it all of you. Enjoy...!

Santa was in the hospital, near death, so the family sent for his friend Banta. As Banta stood beside the bed, Sunta's frail condition grew worse, and he motioned frantically for something to write on. Banta lovingly handed him a pen and piece of paper, and Sunta used his last ounce of strength to scribble a note. Then he died.Banta thought it best not to look at the note just then, so he slipped it into his jacket pocket.

Several days later, at the funeral, Banta was visting Sunta's family. He realized that he was wearing the same jacket that he'd worn the day Sunta died."You know," he said, "Sunta handed me a note just before he died.I haven't read it, but knowing Sunta, I'm sure there's a word of inspiration there for us all. " He unfolded the note and read aloud infront of everyone, "You're standing on my oxygen tube!"

Hello there people. After a month and a half, I am back on my blog. As I said in the description, I’ve just been too busy. Now I am back because I will be working only four days a week from now on. So will try to keep this one updated regularly.

So, what can we start with. There is the WAR and the political correctness of our leaders to discuss, and there are a few issues in my knowledge that I would like to share. But obviously not in one day. So why don’t we start with the hottest of the topics… The War on Iraq.

I was always convinced that there will be War, unless Suddam Husain hands the power directly to Bush. By the end, it was unmistakably clear that even if Suddam decides to step down as the president of Iraq and let the people rule themselves (democracy I’m talking about), there would have still been a war.

I am very strongly opposed to a few statements made by bush and his so called “coalition of the willing”. For example, “You are either with us, or with the terrorists.” So now if anyone differs in opinion with bush, he is a terrorist. Everyone either attack the country that bush wants to eliminate or occupy, or you are a terrorist. I wonder what bush and his so called “coalition of the willing”, would call the american people who are opposed to the war. Are all of them terrorists too?

We all know that the terms such as “regime change”, “liberation of Iraqi people” and “Unarming Suddam” etc. are all a cover for issues that are more political than these. OIL is being seen by most as the underlying cause of this war. I agree with that to a large extent. There was this discussion on TV about the war the other day, and a gentleman used a term “Demonstration War”. This to me seems to be very precise.

Reading about my anti-war and anti-american sentiments may give some an impression that I am Pro-Saddam. Now this is not correct either. He is a dictator, and people do need to get rid of him. But bush needs to understand that he or his armed forces are not needed in Iraq. Stuffing food in the mouths of poor Iraqis only bush’s attempt to buy the hungry stomach.
